TitleZambia Visit Reports
DescriptionSub series of reports relating to visits to Zambia.

The area now known as Zambia was known as Northern Rhodesia from 1911 when the two former (British) protectorates of North-Eastern Rhodesia and North-Western Rhodesia were merged to form the new protectorate of Northern Rhodesia. In 1953, Britain created the Central Africa Federation, made up of Southern Rhodesia, Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland. The Federation was dissolved in 1963 and the country gained independence in 1964 and became Zambia.

Access to reports that include opinions about individuals - or what was intended for them - will be limited to the named individual only until 75 years after the creation of those records, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
