Details:

One of the original four world co-ordinations set up in 1962, initially known as Foods I. Responsible for margarine, edible fats and oils, mayonnaise, sauces, dressings, cheese, meat, fish, and cake mixes.

Responsibility for mayonnaise and oil based dressings transferred to Foods II Co-ordination in 1968.

Had a Margarine Division.

New International Specialities Division (ISD) set up 1972 - for industrial users of oils and fats in the chocolate, confectionery, biscuit, bakery and food industries in Europe and overseas.

Renamed Edible Fats & Dairy Co-ordination February 1973.
Replaced by Foods Executive 1989
