Previously known as the Animal Feeds Group, which moved out of London to Basingstoke in March 1971.
Animal Feeds Co-ordination was set up to administer animal feeds businesses in the UK, the Netherlands and France. Companies reporting to it included BOCM, Unitrition, Unifeeds, United Agricultural Merchants (UAM), Irish Feeds, UT-Delfia, COFNA (French) and Midland Poultry Holdings.

The Co-ordination businesses in UK and Ireland were reorganised into the Unilever Agribusiness Group in April 1982. Animal feeds businesses later
reported to the Agribusiness Co-ordination set up in 1986.

NB Animal feeds businesses in Continental Europe were the responsibility of national and regional managements, and for overseas were the responsibility of
Overseas Committee through Plantations Group.

The Animal Feeds Co-ordination businesses in UK and Ireland were reorganised into the Unilever Agribusiness Group in April 1982. Animal feeds businesses later reported to the Agribusiness Co-ordination set up in 1986 to co-ordinate the activities in Unilever's agribusiness sector, namely plantations, plants and seeds, aquaculture and animal feeds.

Companies reporting to it included Bocmsilcock, Unitrition, Unifeeds, United Agricultural Merchants (UAM), Irish Feeds, UT-Delfia, COFNA (French), Midland Poultry Holdings and Marine Harvest.
