These photographs were collected from former coasters by Bill Lightfoot, former Personnel Manager in Manchester of G B Ollivant, and put in an album c.1983
The album consists of the following sequences:
1-21: photographs taken by Jonathan Green [J A Green] of Bonny, Nigeria, probably of scenes and people in the Rivers area of southern Nigeria, c.1900
22-50: photographs, probably taken during the 1920s and 1930s
51-61: photographs of G B Ollivant and Company stores in the Gold Coast [Ghana]
62-66: photographs used for ordering spare machine parts
67-72: photographs of various subjects
73-85: photographs probably taken in the 1940s and early 1950s |
