|Description||This company was incorporated in around 1965, for the purpose of carrying on the business of manufacturing and selling razor blades. Hindustan Lever purchased 47.5% of the issued share capital of this business; Sharpedge manufactured high quality razor blades for sale by Hindustan Lever (at least some of these blades were sold under the Erasmic name).|
In 1987 the entire holding of equity capital would be transferred to Indian Shaving Products Ltd (associate of Gillette) and their business associates House of Poddar Enterprises. With this disinvestment the company now had no further associations with Sharpedge Ltd.
